And then both of you guys w/ you sewing maching powered cars get passed by a moped w/ a 5hp Engine and he goes on to put 5 car lengths on you. Racing an EX vs a DX is like a 10 speed bike vs a golden retriever.

nothing spectacular yet........basically just wanted to get the amp outta the wheel well, and get the box to stop sliding around and stuff.

like i said, im not done, so dont flood the thread with "dude carpet the box", "dude carpet the seats" "looks good, but fix the seats" or "looks good, but i agree with $person, cover the seats and/or box.." ITS NOT DONE YET!! IT WILL BE CARPETED!

and just for fun....

Do you have the rear cargo cover? Does it fit over the box?

i actually have 4........but i took 3 out. used to have 2, but the box + subs == too much weight for my puny engine.. 1 is good right now, for just driving around...... quality bass, can be loud if i want, and light.

(4x400w 12s getting full power in a gutted hatchback == LOUD AS FUCK)

if you want real crystal sound...go find a nice person who does some good power management customizations on computers and car sterios...tell them you want to cross over your speaker power wires to a mini power converter (i cant think of the real name off the top of my head)(usually two for each wire and 1 or 2 for the pre amp output on your head unit) , pump all the treble to your speakers (the power converters will push extreme power to your speakers which are gonna be your treble) and also push some more power through your amp and power converter to your sub. this will maximize sound quality by at least 45% plus its really cheap. power converters go for about $20 a pop. if you really want a detailed description then email me and ill give you a full layout. and trust me....this REALLY works and it makes your sound SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much better even with stock speakers.

Re: panel removal....

I've pulled that panel off as well but I could not get the knob on the hatch release off so I could pull out the cup that lies behind the release. I managed to get the hatch liner off by squeezing that cup and forcing it through the hole in the hatch liner but I cannot do the reverse to get the liner through. Did you manage to remove the release knob? Is there some trick? I am getting a new liner panel but I can't install it without figuring out how to get the release handle back through it. Help!
