Question on brake lights??

I have a ls swap in my 90 hatch, and my brake lights are out and i was wounderin if i need a ls brake clip or it doesnt matter if i get a civic one or a universal one get back to me crew later.

I dont have a stock engine i have a ls swap. my brake lights are out and my friend said i need a brake clip for it so do i need a ls integra one or a civic one or wat get back to me.

brake lights are in no relation to motor, or motor swap for that matter. Check the fuses. I'v seen several hatches that leak around the tail light seal and make the fuses blow. Also check the bulbs, the switch, the wiring.... the normal stuff.

I have checked everything already and nothing was wrong. The parking lights go on, we checked the wiring the fuses. I need a clip or something i dunno help me out.

check brake fluid level
check brake pads

also if alternator bad, all the instrument lights come on.

What the fuck does his brake light have to do with his alternator. If this was a pay site Id give double your money back to stay away. This is the second post in our area you've posted mumbo jumbo. oh yea, check the brake light switch, its on the pedal tree right above the brake pedal.

i might misread, the rear brake lights, and thought he's talking about instrument gauge cluster brake light.

Some cars, when the alternator dies, the check engine light and brake lights will come up to let you know it died. but the check engine light bulb could be burnt or not working, and show only parking lights.

i'm trying to help out. everyone should be allowed to post when they want to offer advice or help out. This is a public forum.

yes, but its not his dash lights. Its his actual brake lights that arent working.

I would check the switch that the pedals hits.
