This is the Ford that almost made that a reality for Fred Lorenzen. He came down to race with the rebels and used up this Ford and his bank account and went back home to Elmhurst to be a carpenter again. But a fateful call around Christmas of 1960 changed his life and stock car record books forever. Another sweet build from my brother, Gator.
