Monograms "Badman" 55 Chevy Gasser.

Here are a few shots of my Badman kit by Monogram. This is one of my favorites as a kid.

I built it 99% box stock just for nostalgia purpouses.

All I am doing is wiring th engine, running some linkage to the hat, blackout the wheel backs, cut the side windows out and I already painted it Testors Chrome Yellow with Testors pearl clear over that.

Heres the chassis.

Heres a couple of interior shots.

It's about 75% done.

Tom Daniels is the 'effin man.

You're doing an awesome job building this thing, right down to that bitchin' looking blower belt (those things never turn out right for me unless I use aftermarket stuff or the Polar Lights kits).

Only thing I'd have done differently is maybe attack those mold lines below the headlights a bit better, but to do that now would muck up that great paint. Ah well. Still bitchin'.

Nope never. There was a car that was used as "Inspiration" according to Tom Daniels known as "Stimulation".

Re: Monograms "Badman" 55 Chevy Gasser.

Weight transfer. The more weight unloading on the rear all at once the better the traction.

More on this as well as some AMAZING pictures http://www.gassermadness.com
