Yep, i think he wants bonzelite-type critiscism..So someone give it to him. I cannot. I am the final judge in the contest + I am running the contest, meaning that I cannot help the contestants in any way shape or form...

well the first thing i noticed is that this is by far your best!

@the passenger side front tire...is way to far up also that whole tire seems to be leaning towards the left on top.

also the left side of the hood seems like it could come down a bit

also your tires look like they are made of sheet metal

Re: hotrod pic

At the angle of the front car, it looks like your front axle is bent in half almost. That far side tire needs to be brought back some like Castback said. Also, the passenger side headlight...doesn't look like there is one, but I can see it. It blends in too well with the tire and spokes behind it. Personally, if I were driving the car, that is one hellacious spot to put headlights, cuz it's not gonna help me any when I see with them. Also, like they said...the tires don't look anywhere near rubber...lol Then if that is mountains or hills or w/e in the background....the back tire is either on the side of the hill, mountian...or it's floating. Center caps on your front wheels are too high. Those are some small as hell side view mirrors...what you plan on seein outta them?...lol Same goes for the rear view mirror. Bring the left side of the hood down some. The side pipes are like the other headlight...can't really tell those are there unless you really look. The cone and the sign are leaning a little too much to the right. Wheels are the hardest part to get right on a car, just takes some practice and getting used to drawing the elipses...but maybe round off the rims and wheels a bit more, there are parts that make it look like somebody took a sledge hammer to one side of the rim. With that, maybe round off the wheel cover also, bring it farther down on the front and back and cover a bit more of the wheels. But that's all being extremely picky and somebody lookin for every bit of detail...lol. The shading is good (except the super shine on the tires...lol), good attention to detail, I like the street sign and the fact that you did a WHOLE picture, not just a car on a peice of paper. The drawing is excelent considering there were no reference pictures used to create this drawing. That's awesome skillz right there.

Whoa, Allen, that is one long paragraph. Lol, Kustm, you intended to do that also?

here i am.

ok. if you are going to commit to a background, you better render it as well as the car. or imply it. it seems like you want to have the b/g showcased. so fix it. (hint- do not go and overwork it to where it competes with the cars -it is easy to fall into that trap).

next, aside from the uniform and glossy, perhaps off-putting texturing you have achieved for nearly everything (which is appropriate for sheetmetal), you need to find a convincing niche or area on the sheetmetal of your hero car for the rear tire. it looks stuck on. it doesn't stand off the body. it looks queer. a simple shadow or recessed area will help.

also, heed everything AirAllen says. just read it again and take it to task.

i know a complete scene is very complex. you have great ambition. in time, you will come up to the level where your skill matches the ambition.

keep going. i could carry on with this, but i gotta work today.

great elipses, though!
