323is Head Removal

I am trying to remove the head from my E36 323is. I already have everything disconnected (including the timing chain) and all of the head bolts I can see removed but it won't budge. Does anyone know if I have to remove the cams. I suspect that there way be more bolts underneath them but I'm not sure. F.Y.I.- I don't have a manual.

Re: 323is Head Removal

it will come off with the cams in. You probably missed the small bolts in the front of the head down in the timing chain well.
