Better Brakes
I want to replace the brake rotors and pads in my 2000 K1500 with plated slotted rotors and better pads. I have read about PowerSlot rotors with Hawk brake pads but only what I have read on their websites. When I tow a trailer it tends to always be heavy and I just want to have better stopping ability. Does anyone know of a good brake set up? Any help would be appriciated.

Re: Better Brakes
Ceramic brake pads if available are hands down the best, and you don't have to modify the rotors.
I haven't replaced the brakes on my 99 yet @ 80,000+ miles, but I have on other vehicles using NAPA Ceramix and they are really bitchen brakes |
