Looking for advice

HI I'm new to this forum. Welshbaritone's the name

OK, small talk over, I need some advice on maxing my Tibby.

Spec
Hyundai Coupe/Tiburon 1998 (October)
2.0 Litre Petrol (not an SE or an F2 Evolution)
No engine mods
17" MOMO Fighter Alloys with Avon ZZ3 tyres
MOMO Tomohawk gear handle
Sony Radio/Tuner/Cassette player with 10disc changer
A few interior neons that need proper installment - ie not sticky tabs which wear off in time!
4 bottles of Nitrox Power Shot fuel additive added every time I re-fill the tank (boosts bhp by 10%)

My main concern at the moment in modding my car is Bodykits. I've seen many and am very confused as to what and where to get what I'm looking for. Recently, I've been shouting the praise of the 9pc Vader flared Bodykit, but when searching for comments (or even European outlets) on the above kit, I came across this site saying, NOOOO! Its a fake Veilside and has crap fitting! GO VEILSIDE! Whether or not this is relevant to the newer Tib's I am not sure, and would like to know before dishing out the kudo's on something that's gonna mean a lot of extra work.

Now on the Veilside of things, it appears that there are only kits available for the 2000+ car. Would the 2000 kit not fit the 98 car? And are there any "GENUINE" Veilsides still available for my year of car?

Another thing that is on my mind is whether or not there are any differences in the spec between USA Tiburon's and European design Tiburon? It appears that a lot of the best looking kits are available to buy on either American-based sites or Korean ones. Therefore, if this is the case, then the Veilside might not fit anyhow. And also, many sites in UK say there are no Induction or Air Filter kits available for the 98 Tib, whilst on American sites, many people have air filters, the lot (even turbo's fitted!!) on the same year, same engine sized car.

Er, I think I'll end it there for now.....maybe I'll go into performance once I've sorted out the look of the car.

Cheers

Arfon aka welshbaritone

whatever you do, research extensively on the kits before you buy on www.rdtiburon.com, www.hyundaiperformance.com, and www.hyundaiaftermarket.com
