When i go over bumps im gettin' a Metal clanking noise coming from my front left tire...anyone know what it might be?

Well I might have a good idea as what it could be. If it's actually comming from the wheel itself i'm not sure, it could be a number of things. But if it sounds almost like a rattling next to the tire it might be a loose heat sheild. It happened to my 96. You could hear it when you hit small bumps and when it was ideling at certain rpms. Take a look under the car you should be able to find it, if that's what it is. I got mine welded but if you don't care you can just take it right off. Cheers

could be bushings on your control arms goign out and it cause metal to "clank" against metal
