Flat Black paint help

Im trying to paint my interior trims wiht flad black paint and its never comes out like i want sometimes is shiny even that is flad black paint and somtimes is clouse dark grey
can someone give me tip in painting BLack interior trims
so the paint looks the same everytime i paint it

What kind of paint are you using, where are you painting it, and how are you cleaning/prepping the plastic?

its duplicolor vinyl paint its flat black and im painting the vinyl (door panels )

are you asking why it isnt shiny? if so, it may be the fact that you are using FLAT black...try using somthing along the lines of 'glossy black.' this will give it the shine you are looking for

in using flat black bc i want th be flat but lots of times it comes out glossy or more like dark gray
why is it doing this
