Crx Hf or Civic Std.....who'd win?

The crx hf has the 12 valve but 5 speed, the civic std has the 16 valve but 4 speed. If you they were to race each other stock with nothing on them, who do you think will win?

STD would i think
it be close but very slow
the gearing is the same HF just has 5th.

i bet the crx would, cus in my old 89 civic it had the crappy 1.5L and it was slower than a mother fooker. and i raced an 88 civic but he had 5 gears and i only had 4 and he smoked me with that 5th gear... if i would have had 5 i would have kicked his ass

However the 88 Civic you raced could have been an Si with the 1.6 liter and 5 speed.

the std may have a 4 speed, but the gearing is exactly the same up until the 5th gear, and the std has more power (who would think that line would have even been spoken?)
