Trick FLow head package

I finaly sold my bike for $2100, i am going to sit on that money untill i get my car into good running order with my regular paychecks. The question i have now is do you guys think the Trick Flow package from summit (part #TFS-K514-350-370) is exagerating there numbers when they say, "350 HP, and 370 Ft. lbs"? And my other thought is, is it worth the $2000 price tag? I try and stay away from package deals like this because i feel they are built to someone elses specs. But i am knew to stangs so i could be wrong. As you can probably figure i have a few months untill i make a decision, so i am still lookin around. oh, they used a 5.0 with 9.5 compression, 70mm TB and 10 degrees base time.

Well it doesnt list what it all comes with. I think it has twisted wedge heads, street heat intake, stage 1 cam, d. roller chain set and possibly gaskets. If you price that all seperately:

Intake - $395
Heads - $1095
Cam - $140
Chain - $100ish
Gaskets - $100ish

That doesnt exactly come out to $2050 if you ask me. Do you know what the kit all has in it off-hand?

For only $50 more you can get the same kit with a Track Heat intake,
#TFS-K514-360-350, as well.

Re: Trick FLow head package

Sorry that was my fault, it does include the track heat intake or the regular trick flow intake. Here is the contents of the package;
Twisted Wedge heads, Hydro roller cam, rockers, gaskets, timing chain, pushrods, valve covers, and either a regular trick flow intake for $2049.95 or a track heat intake for $2099.95.
I guess it is not that good of a deal, unless the numbers are not exagerated? I would be willing to pay that if the numbers are true.

Yeah that comes out a little better. Sounds like a pretty good deal. You may also wanna pick up a 3/8" phenolic spacer, which summit carries, to fit your track heat intake. It helps keep some of the heat out of the upper intake and still fits under the stock hood just fine. Good luck.

1600 bucks for a used S-trim. With 2 grand you have the S-trim and are halfway to a new set of heads, and alot more fun than a N/A 302.

Re: Trick FLow head package

i like your idea, but the car already has close to 130,000 miles on it and the motor. I am sure that it would need, at the very least new cast pistons along with a few other supporting mods. Thanks for all the replys though.
