where's the spout connecter?

could anyone please tell me where the "spout connecter "is located. i need to check the timing on my 94 5.0 and half of the label under the hood is gone. also it pings bad and is pretty sluggish now. 10 degrees is factory. i checcked the balancer for marks and found that it has been marked with paint at 14. any opinions would be great. thanks

There should be a little two wire pigtail a few inches down from the tfi on the distributor harness connector. At the end of the two wires is a little grey fuse looking deal. Just pull it out to set timing.

Here's a picture to go along with that.

Re: where's the spout connecter?

This is a picture from my haynes manual for this
year of Mustang:

As you can see, it is right by the air filter according to the book.
I have not actually looked to see if this is correct on my own vehicle.
