Accord Ex Cd Player Problem Please help!

Hello guys,

I have a 2003 Accord ex. I have a huge problem with my in-dash 6 disk cd changer. I put in a cd into it, and after that cd changer and player stoped responding at all. Radio plays fine like nothing happened but when I press cd button to try to get the player to work it does not do anything. I tried to reset the stereo by disconnecting the battery and reconnecting it again, the radio got reset but cd player is still dead. Please give me some hints on what might the problem be. Or maybe someone can look at the users manual and see what it say, I unfortunatelly do not have one with me. I really appreciate your time.

Thank you

Alex

you know, you don't need to go to dealer that you bought your car from, you can go to any honda dealer.

Talking

I had a CD jam in my radio, also 6-CD version, and it stopped the operation of the CD player. What you need to do is remove the radio and remove the cover plates that surround the radio to get to the CD. Look around while the plates are off. My CD was bent a little and it jammed easly. I freed the CD and the player played.

STOP! I just bought a new radio (Thanks Jason, Buddy was great!), because I was in a hurry and had a radio shop remove the radio. The factory won't warranty it any longer and a new one is ....hold your breath on this one..... $583.00 plus a usable core (old radio) and if it is damaged and can't be used, add more to that. The one discount dealer that I found, in North Carolina wanted $1,500 if there was no core.....

Take it to the Honda dealer and have him fix it. By the way, mine did the same thing before it jamed and ate 6 of my CDs......
