Question Instrument Panel in 635CSI model (1986) ?.

Hello to everyone and thank you for looking.
I recentely purchased an this babby and have to take trunk cd-changer out of it for the old owner. I managed to take it out of the trunk but then got stuck on removing all the connections from the front panel. I spent about a day on figuring out how to unscrew instrument panel and take all the wiring off the radio. I already damaged some parts like Emergency Brake cover and don't really want to risk any more so I was hoping there someone who already done this before in this forum.
Thanks again
-Gorge.

Smile Hmm, greetings Gorge

Welcome, and drive that shark like you stole it and it will like it.

Now on the instuments, BMW uses the word "cluster" to mean the intruments in front of the driver, speedo, tach, fuel, and temp.

So that part of the dash is called the instrument cluster.

In the middle of the dash is called the radio, heater, and A/C panel.

Everything aft of the heater panel is called the console.

Later,
