turbo or all motor or supercharger?

i got a '94 hatch and im getting a b18c1. not sure which way to go.
im not too familar with all the different turbo brands if i decide to go turbo. im not sure what my goal is, but i want a reliable car that can be reasonably maintainable and that is pretty quick. Can anyone tell me some specs on different turbo kits? maybe some prices too???

o and wassup with the b20 w/ vtec? my bros fren swaps that but he never told me anything about prices and reliablity...all i kno is the specs are all good

th B20 VTEC is a frankenstein motor, B16 VTEC head worked onto a B20 nonVTEC block. if you get a stroker kit from Crower, it alone will expand into 2.1L, longer stroke, more torque & low end power.

if going all motor there are many routes to go, like Crower parts, www.crower.com ...if you want predictable & sustained power, get a supercharger www.jacksonracing.com , but wana go turbo, go HKS www.hksusa.com or GReddy www.greddy.com

thanks for the links...lets say i got crv vtec. how much would i be expecting to spend? i mean i already have the mechanic and all its thru my bros hommie but i juss want a rough estimate b4 i ask him. and yall kno the specs on the hks and greddy turbo on a gsr?

a good beginner turbo kit out is the greddy kit and theat goes for around $1,600, butn this kit doesn't really produce a lot of boost. your car can be as reliable as you want just as long as you check everything and see if anything is wrong or not working and for the maitnence part well if you are choosing turbo then i don't think that there is a way to get around the maitnence part.

Acutally, the Greddy kit can produce enough boost to wipe your engine out completely. Any turbo can do that. Tell him about the differences between the Greddy and other kits.
1. The Greddy is smaller and spools up faster (provides boost faster).
2. The larger turbos spool later, but net bigger power gains in the top end.
3. Less engine mods have to be done to support the Greddy kit compared to the large turbos.
4. The Greddy is considerably less than almost every turbo kit on the market right now.
5. You can get almost everything the FMAX kit offers with their turbo for the Greddy, plus exhaust and gauges and save over $400.

when done correctly...you're going to get more reliability and possibly more power if you go "all engine" when done correctly and EXPENSIVELY...but you have to admit...there's nothing like the sound of a turbo spooling up.....aaahhhhh....

hell yeah i love that sound...shizzz i dunno which 2 go yet. i mean i felt the pull in my hommies tt supra but i never really drove a quick all motor car...any1 gots one for me to use hehehe

actually i dont even worry about legal cuz i can allways get outta my tickets since i know everyone where i live but i dont know about cali... i have noticed that alot of the things i can get say legal in all states but california lol.... how strict are they there?

Turbo: best is probably revhard turbos. if u want street legal then go with greddy next to best is drag 3. u might want to build your engine up for a turbo If u want to run high boost.
