i guess you could call this a sighting, but thats not why im posting this
i had a baseball game on a saturday afternoon last week. all of a sudden, a sparkling new porsche 911 carrera 4 pulls into the parking lot. i look at it for a while from the dugout, and keep playing. all of a sudden, i hear a BANG! i turn towards the parking lot, and i see the guy walking past the 911, and he ran into the side mirror, severely bending it! the look on his face, man, he was scared!

you mean he physically walked into his side mirror? are you sure it broke also, didnt just fold in?

Most likely he just folded it in.. Not bended it, I think if he bended it it would have broke off.

A lot of cars today have mirros that are designed to fold both forwards and backwards, my mom's Subaru can take a direct hit form me walking into it, it's pretty tech stuff.

i dunno that might have been what happened, but i know i heard a banging noise. also, he walked into it from the rear to front, and im assuming mirrors cant fold that way but i dunno.
