found an 87 camaro..

ok i found a sweet 87 camaro it comes with a $4k system "new high performace engine" with cams and forged pistons also has a 700R4 tranny so unfortunantly its automatic and has a 342 rear end so what does everyone think the engine is? b/c the ad doesn;t say what model and the guy never called me back last night.

just lookin for some feedback

Re: found an 87 camaro..

I enjoy driving standard but my 89 Iroc came with a 5.7 TPI and automatic. It now has over 160k miles on it and when it hits second gear and tires chirp and the backend kicks loose a little bit. Its fast and still bangs through the gears no problem.
