Re: boost controller profec b spec 2

I'm not familiar with EBCs, but you might not be able to get full boost in 1st and 2nd gear. I know that my instructions for setting the boost from twosrus said that I had to make my runs in 3rd gear or higher because the engine would be under full load and develop full boost.

Hey sup man,
I got the profec B in my car and I m boosting 14 PSI on high. It took me a while to figure out the setting as well. I drove my car for like 6 months and the boost was fine if i would floor it only after 3000RPM otherwise it would stutter and hesitate. I don t know about the profec b spec 2 but I figured out on my BC that I had to set the balance switch as well that is important in order to get constant boost. Just play with it. I leave mine at around 10 O'clock. It has to be on mild rather than on sharp. On my bc I have little marks around the balance switch just try to turn it on the left til it is set on the second mark. Hope it will help you and sorry I speak French dude!
And yeah by the way you never get full boost on first and second! At least not on my car...

Re: boost controller profec b spec 2

Regardless of what controller you use, you want to set your boost level in 3rd or 4th gear.
What ever level you set in 3rd or 4th gear, you may not be able to reach it in 1st and 2nd gear.

There is more load in higher gears, hence you can make more boost.
