Re: Video:Turbo SE-R vs Supercharged Sunfire

Fix it i wanna see it too. Im guessing the Sunfire has a 2.4l dohc with the gm s/c kit. With the gm sc ecu upgrade. It would be running about 200-220 to the wheels. Im guessing the se-r is in the same range.

Re: Video:Turbo SE-R vs Supercharged Sunfire

Yeah, actually, despite my best efforts he still took me off the line. I dumped the clutch at about 4k rpm with more than 90% tread on my tires. So there's no way I could've launched any better anyway. Also keep in mind that this race took place at over 5,000ft above sea level so both cars would be faster on a coast.

Re: Video:Turbo SE-R vs Supercharged Sunfire

Not too shabby. From what I gathered from your first post, you just turbo-charged the stock SR20DE, right?

Besides the JWT cams, are you still running stock internals? What boost?

Re: Video:Turbo SE-R vs Supercharged Sunfire

Yeah, all stock internals. It's a JGYcustoms kit but the guy I bought it from haggled them into getting a T28 instead of the standard T25. The motor is a USDM 9.5:1 c/r with just the cams and a Jimwolf ECU.

Whoops, It's just pumping the stock 7lbs with a Blitz SSBOV and a Greddy turbo timer. No boost control yet...

Sweet race. Let's see some more. Have you run it at the track yet? what are you running?

EDIT: Didn't see the signature. Nice ride, man.
