dodge/chrysler goodwill stories?

I am the one with the 00 grand caravan with the differential failure. 3K to replace with a rebuilt tranny.

I asked the tech at the dealer for a goodwill adjustment and he said no, I asked that he ask his service manager and he said no as well, but agreed to contact chrysler directly. my grand caravan has 65K miles on it and it was checked out by this same dealer 2700 miles ago and said to have no problems. the tech states it was a "mechanical failure and there was no way to forsee it occuring 2700 miles ago," well, then it seems pretty clear that it is a manufacturing problem!

I'm looking for any success stories. thanks.

Re: dodge/chrysler goodwill stories?

I saw your latest post first;

Chrysler paid for my neighbors transmission 20K miles out of warranty, after he moaned to them about it for 4 months. He also had to pay for the initial diagnosis and some other fees like fluids and an oil change and such.

He's pretty happy now, for all the moaning I had to listen to because he knows I'm a Mopar freak...!
Thank god the van hasn't croaked again yet (35K miles later... I'm probably jinxing the thing right now.. damnit!)
