Well, now you know why they were for sale.
It is possible to weld aluminum; it is very specialised but there are shops that do just this sort of thing. If you cannot find one that specifically welds aluminum castings look for one that repairs aluminum rims. I had a cracked aluminum intake (worse than your's) welded for $40. That being said, don't even think of bolting it on without a repair. The crack will only get worse. |
