Head and Cam on ecotec
Hey guys,
New to the board. I am in the process of a H+C swap in my transam right now. I have a chance to get heads and cam for my ectoec from the same company at a decent price for some nice flowing heads. Has anyone done a H+C swap on an ecotec? Is it overly difficult(I can do it on a smallblock)? What kind of intake, headers, and exhaust would you recommend for this type of setup? Thanks in advance.

Re: Head and Cam on ecotec
Explain what you want to do. I dont understand what you want to swap. are you porting the head and getting new cams or what. need more detail, or just some clearification.

Re: Head and Cam on ecotec
the l61 should respond good to that ported head. I dont know about the cams (since i have never heard of l61 cams out yet) and i would say once you go with the ported head i would do a full headerback exhuast in 2.25-2.5 piping. check out www.rksport.com for a header i think they have one. and when or before you do the exhuast do an intake from AEM or www.induction-dynamics.com
