Need help on shift lever
My Aspire 1994's shift lever is locked. Even if I move the wheel back and forth or try to push the button in (it wont go) the lever wont move. Any ideas? Help!

automatic right? sometimes my 95 does the same dam thing, does the car start? my didnt even start becuase my ignition key was slighly bent from trying to open the hatch when it was frozen. try getting a new key made, and maybe these cars have it i dunno dont member, lok by the shifter is there a little black plug about the size of a dime, if so pop it off and stick a screwdriver in there so it unlocks it, when it locks it means something but i can member what... dont think that this is going to help but i hopw it does.
