Angry 2000 Rodeo possesed

Hopefully someone will have an idea of whats going on with my truck. It starts by my tranny disengaging all by itself and my tranny light comes on. Well last night it did it again but this time when my tranny light came on so did my cruise control light( just like if I had my cruise set). Where the weird part comes in is I have to push one button to turn my cruise control system on and another to engage it, well my entire cruise control system was off but the light still came on like I had set my cruise. After I press the button to turn on the CC system a green light comes on on the button but when all this happened that light never came on just the gauge light. Anybody know how the CC light could come on cause this might point me to why my tranny light comes on and my tranny disengages. I'm lost on this one, any ideas would help greatfully.
