If you got a D16 or not i wana know know some times.

A got the D16A6 stock motor with a few $100's into the car. (if you wana know specifics ask i aint stingy) I went to the track the first time with this car and ran a 15.5 @ 85 mph's 0-60 2.4 reaction .86. that was the first run. the other 2 got fucked up. 0-60 were better and reation were better but the time got .1 slower everytime. my main concern is what ppl run with the stock si motor with a few things done like i got just to see where i stand. but i wana know times for you ppl wit B16's B18's and ZC's.

Re: If you got a D16 or not i wana know know some times.

what all did ur friend have done to it? was that the stock motor u were talkin bout? and lilol89crx what u talkin bout a 12.84??? internally stock hf?? you cant have the stock D15 motor and ran a 12.84 unless u had pretty much everything done to it. bolt-ons, internals, and suspension.

in the 1/8th my a stock ZC dohc in an 89 std is 9.623 with 1.3 reaction time. a majority of my times are 9.64-9.72 my reaction time sucks reallly bad if i can get it down i think i can get lower 9's and with some slicks maybe? 9.3? the zc has i/e/h/lw.f and i've adjusted the valves

UM the rule of thumb is:

Poor fuel economy=american cars=honda people dont like them

DONT TALK ABOUT THEM.

Also why would you wanna put a 4.6 sohc engine in our car. First it prolly wouldnt fit, 2nd of all a fully built turbo b or h series engine and be pushing twice more power

OK
sorry had to let that out

Plus people talk about the H22 being heavy, don't you think a 4.6 v8 would be at least a little bit heavier?
