Brake Pedal noise inside van
I just changed the front brake pads on my 2000 windstar, 36k miles. The old pads were not consumed but since it was fairly easy to change I did it anyway. After I was done I pumped up the brakes and things seem to work well except there is a low noise inside the van when I put on the brakes. The sound is like "eee rrrr" or like having a wet shoe against the rubber pedal. I did not bleed the system nor does it feel spongy. Did it have anything to do with pumping the brakes back up and the rod exending farther into to MC than normal?
