alternator bracket removal for sparkplug access?
Could someone tell me the correct procedure for changing the sparkplugs on a 89 Skylark 2.5?? Seems like the alternator bracket is in the way of 2 plugs....what genius....?
Thanks |

You do not have to remove the bracket as it will take forever. There is a swivel spark plug socket that we use to get to that particular plug. It is a pain in the butt, but you can get to it.
Good luck.

Re: alternator bracket removal for sparkplug access?
You should be able to get one online. And just count your blessings. At least you dont have the fattest 50 pound Air Conditioning unit in front of three of four plugs on the left side. And people wonder why I dont have air conditioning anymore...

Yeah... that or they can point you to one in a store near by. But if you cant find it locally, again the internet is a great source.
