B16a Speedo cable to trans
I am currently putting a 1st gen B16a in my CRX SI. All wiring checks out but I dont know about the speedo gear in the trans. My old d16 trans just has a metal pipe sticking out where I can just pul the cable into. The one off the b16a looks as if it were pump driven because of 2 lines coming off of the unit. I don't know if I can swap the gear unit or use the one that came with it even though I am guessing you can't becasue there are 2 lines that go to nothing. I can't even pull the old one out of my D16. It has a wide base and a skinny pipe from that. I managed to turn the whole thing but then after a bit I ended up spinning just the pipe on top of the base. I don't know if I broke it or what but i know the cable won't fit in there anymore because I ovalized the shaft with a pip wrech =) Also I need a pinout of the ECU, or if anyone can tell me how it goes that can help. THANKS ALOT GUYS!!

I have a 90 HB with B16 and my tranny did come with a speedo cable whole. All I did was install it like any other cable speedo. The two extra lines near speedo on tranny can be plugged off because they are not needed. Good luck.

I think those to extra lines were used for a transmission oil cooler. Correct me if I am wrong.
