insurance costs $_$

for some reason i started thinking about isurance costs... why do RS' owners have to pay A LOT LESS than IROC/Z-28 owners!? i know about the prices cause my cousin has an RS and we are in the same age group.. not only that but ive heard about the price difference.. just a thought.. anybody know reasons or factors??

Re: insurance costs $_$

what year rs? i've got a 97 rs, and it's only a v6, hence the insurance drop. iroc/z28 are v8 beasts, and insurance companies love to go after that

Re: insurance costs $_$

its the designation, the rs is a base model esentially, while the IROC is the "sport" and "performance" option, so the insurance companies have a feild day with it.
