Talking Noob Kwestions....

Hi,
I just purchased an 84 325E for $600. A good buy considering the engine was rebuilt about 30K ago, and the clutch seems to be good.

I don't know much about Bimmers yet, but it appears that the 3(25) series have a lot of interchangable parts.

I'm specifically in need of a driver's seat has a broken right hinge and will also need a pneumatic cyl so it doesn't fall down when the lever is pulled (and probably rails - rusted somehow - don't know where that H2O came from!!!)
I also would like to replace the center console. Ick! broken Cassette holders, how archaic. Is there one with a D@mned cup holder???

Oh yeah, any ideas of good on-line parts sources? I was disabled yesterday when a rag got caught up in the drive shaft and somehow wrapped itself around the flex coupling and disintigrated it! Gotta get one of those, and hope the splines are screwed.....

Ahh the fun of working on a new toy. Now trying to sell my '77 MG midget. Garage full - tired of convertible.....
