95 neon rattling...?

my 95 neon has this strange rattling sound when i go over rough roads or bumps. to me it sounds like something is lose with the suspension but i know its comming from underneith the car and i have yet to pinpoint the actual problem area but it sounds to me like its commin from the front and rear of the car. any suggestions on this problem?

When I bought my '95 new, it had a rattling sound coming from the top of the dashboard. After several days at the dealer for their half-hearted attempts at a warranty fix, I began to remove parts from the front of the cabin. Piece by piece, day by day, I stripped that thing down to the firewall - driving it daily to see if I had removed the offending part on that day. The rattle remained. I took the stripped car back to the dealer, and said "I can tell you what is NOT causing the rattle". It took them 3 further days to figure out that a $.05 nylon clip thru' which a rod travels (that trips the doorlatch) in the right front door had popped out. The sound telegraphed up the skin of the door, across the firewall, and appeared to come from the top-center of the dash!

so could it be possible that the 2 drivers side doors would be that problem? because when i installed my audio system the latches seemed to make the exact type of noise but i never thought it was those because the door panel pressed against it, but now that i look back and listen that it only seems to be commin from the drivers side and behind the drivers seat...i appreciate the info because this noise is driving me absolutely nuts, i was | | close to get new suspension for my car, which will prob have to happen any way due to the horrible bumpstop of the car, but i have a whole day to check that out thanks for the info!!!
