Syrup

I gave a coworker a ride home the other day. She bought french toast for breakfast and had leftovers. On the way home, she dripped syrup all over herself and the passenger seat. It's not sticky anymore, but any ideas how to get the stain out of the seat?

How did you get it off your co-worker??

If youve got seat covers a bathtub with warm water and gentle rubbing will work (I forgot who posted that).

If its the seat then you might want to borrow the nearest Siberian Husky and put him/her in your truck and show the dog the stain. They can get anything out of car upholstery if it is tasty enough. (I found that out by accident by the way....).

Actually - go to the nearest Pep Boys or something similar and check out the "detailing" section. They make sprays too numerous to name that take care of those kind of needs.

Personally I use seat covers and toss them every few years because Im lazy.

You now...I tried to write that in a way that wouldn't leave me too open for jabs Anyway, no seat covers, it's on the seat itself. I'll check for those sprays. Thanks!!

Sorry - I'm a smartass.

A word of caution - whatever you try make sure you only use a little bit of it. I am not sure what interior you have but the Xterra can get stained permanent-like really easily. You might want to check out some seat covers. They are great in the rain too. I got mine at www.xterraparts.com

Another option - get a clean towel and wet it with hot water and dish soap. Work on the stain lighty but persistently. That worked for stain in the back of mine. The water will help lossen the syrup, the soap will lift it and a bath towels fabric will work it oughtta there.

Cheers
