I know this is a stupid question, but I'll be buying a car soon and want to make sure. Ok, what is the difference between a 2000 volkswagen golf gls 1.8t and a 2000 gti 1.8t (beside 4 vs 2 door), if there is any?

i think there might be a suspension upgrade. As far as interior i think there is a bit more space in a golf. Also i know the 20th anniversary edition has recaro seats
 . GTI is lighter i.e. faster because power/weight ratio is better.
