Headers?

Are there any headers that will fit a 5sfe motor for a Celica? I found some from hotshot but i dont want to spend $400! Are there any headers that are for a different car but also fit the celica?

Re: Headers?

I have heard some MR2 header will fit, but I don't know much about it, if I get any it will be the hotshot and then a custom exhaust. I don't trust the genie header because i don't know anyone who has it, and haven't seen any pics of it, but it might be worth a look. Good luck

Re: Headers?

Yeh i looked at mr2 headers but they are shaped wierd... it looks like they come off the engine a LONG way before dropping.

Re: Headers?

Well try the genie headers site and ask for pics maybe. Maybe a little more detailed info too.

Hotshot makes a great header. I can't believe you are complaining about $400. A good header for my car (which doesn't exist yet.. still in development) is going to be around $900-$1000.

ragnorak, tpr, forcedfed.. The TRD and Trial header are $900.. and they're not even a long tube race header... and they don't make any gains.

Re: Headers?

Hot shot header is pretty good and 400 is not bad but will only fit 90-93 5sfe.
The Mr 2 header will not work
For 94-99 5sfe http://www.1supertoyota.com/products/rd10.htm
