Question 1982 Ford Mustang Gt 302HO 4 speed value...

Hello,

Wondered if anyone had an idea of how to price your classic car if you were thinking of selling. I may/may not put my vehicle up for sale, but wondered how you get an accurate sale price because NADA, Edmunds and Kelly Blue Book don't allow for "classic car" status. So anyone with a hotrod, according to them is only worth what book says for that year of car and of course, that's not right when you have a classic with $$ put into it.

Thanks for your ideas.

IMO take a look around in the on-line classifieds and see what the asking price is for similar cars, in similar condition and price accordingly.
Price lists tend to be pretty vague and do not take into account particular factors, such as geographic location. They should be considered to be just a suggestion and not gospel.

Thanks Rat,

I've been doing that, it's just hard getting a real idea of what yours is worth. And to me, it's worth a certain number, to others, maybe not. Just have to hope for the best I guess!

Thanks for the reply.
