Jacked up wiring
Ok so I finally broke down and bought a cd player from the pawn shop (yes it works) and got it installed into my car, however it appears that the wiring isn't hooked up right or something cuz I get no power. I pop the cover for the fusebox figuring perhaps there is a blown fuse. What do I find? extra wires and splicers EVERYWHERE!
Apparently the person who owned it before the guy I bought it form thought himself a wiring genius. I'm lookin around and what do I find up there, but a Hornet 725T. Me personally I'm not worried about a security system yet, and I don't have power anything to warrant the extras, but it's nice to find. My question is this, does anyone know of a good site to find info on Stock wiring? I've got a chilton's guide, but I find it's good to have some word of mouth advise to go on as well, since I'm only passingly familiar with anything.

well if your just wanting power for your cd player, you could always run your power wire straight to the battery

I'd like to find out which wires are stock and which are extra crap. I don't mind having extra gear, but I want to start out from square one, that way I can understand what goes where better. As I improve my car I will be learning new things. Kind of a wierd method I know, but it works for me.
