Concerning a Conversion.

If I get a JDM front-end conversion on my 98 integra gsr...will I be able to put this from bumper on it... http://www.import-showoff.com/produc...D=1547&cID=127 ... The front of a regular integra would be able to hold that front bumper because it splits above the headlights. So what im tryin to say is on an acura model of the integra the bumper split line is above the headlights and couldnt hold that bumper, but if I did get the front end conversion would the split line be under my headlights, allowing me to order that bumper?

Re: Concerning a Conversion.

WHAT!?!?!?!?!

Ok, if you get the JDM conversion, that bumper will fit just fine. What you're seeing in that picture is a JDM Teg with a C-west bumper.

If you're asking if you can have a JDM bumper on an USDM integra? Not really... the mounts are different, and the headlights, radiator suport... and so on. You could get it to fit with alot of work and money... but I dont know why you would want to.

Re: Concerning a Conversion.

Yea I want that bumper but I found another one that fits on a US model with the round headlights. So ive got 2 choices...Spend money to buy the JDM front end conversion and buy that bumper or send less money and get the bumper thats still got the round headlights. I would rather pick the japanese look but ill have too think depending on money because im still in school and its not just rollin in. Thanks for your help man

Get whatever your gut is pulling you towards, otherwise in the end you'll want it anyway and either be a little bummed out or go spend money on it anyway, then you've spent money twice.

Tranzlogic, I think you mean Andy's Auto Sport
www.andysautosport.com

Anyways, yeah, I've seen their Cailfornia style front end kit...not just in pictures, the car in front of me at a car show last summer had the kit..it looked pretty dope in person I must say...my girl like'd it too, a lot actually. She still remembers it,lol. I've seen a few JDM front end conversions, but that's the only car with the Andy's California style front end I've ever seen. In that regard, it's definatly pretty originall as well. I actually have a picture of that car, I thought I'd take it since I hadn't seen it in person before. I think that front end sort of looks like a hybird between the JDM and USDM front end. Headlights that sort of resemal the jdm front end, in the regard they are retangular, and some curves like the USDM one. That kit actually might be a happy medium for him, since he seems to want a mix of the 2 front ends.

DYNO Tuning, check that Andy's Auto Sport California front end out, it might be right up your ally. I can try and find the pic and post it if I can find it, though it might not be until the weekend that I can actually scan it and post it.
