Question Black Corners

Ok, i'm looking for black corners for my 91 hatch to go with the black projectors and I can't seem to find them anywhere. Does anyone know where I might be able to get these. I have already checked ebay and no luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Re: Black Corners

Could you post a link to them or something. The one that I saw said they were for a 4 dr or what not. Plus they were a fogged black and not clear with black where the chrome would be.

Re: Black Corners

what year is ur hatch? if ur car is an 88 or 89, search for "88 civic corners" if ur car is a 90 or 91, search for "91 civic corners".

Re: Black Corners

Is it possible to just swap out the mounting bracket, or is the fender too different?

Re: Black Corners

ok heres the list of parts you will need to successfully swap the fenders.

CRX fenders
CRX corner lights
CRX bumper
CRX bumper support
CRX fender-to-frame-to-bumper-to-headlight brackets

all you need to do for this swap is take off your front bumper and bumper support, as well as the small filler piece that goes between the headlights and bumper. then take off the fenders. when you are taking them off, you will notice theres a weird metal bracket that attaches to the frame, the fender, the headlight, and the bumper. take that off as well. then bolt the CRX fenders on just like the stock ones. all the holes lined up on mine except one, and thats the bottom bolt behind the tire (for obvious reasons, because the CRX fender has a small plastic sideskirt, and i didnt intend on putting that on mine)

once the fender is on, then bolt on the CRX version of the weird bracket. from there, all you gotta do is bolt the CRX bumber and support to the car, and put the corner lights in.

now you have more corner light options, no funky filler piece between the headlights and bumper, and more options for bumpers. only downside is, the stock plastic 'sideskirt', which i covered with my aftermarket sideskirt. look at my second picture i posted above to see what im talking about

Re: Black Corners

buy clears, then get some of the krylon staind glass paint, or go to a hobby shop and buy some model car tint or gas powered car body tint, and spray that on the inside of your clear lights.
