Question torque for bolts on oil pan

How much do I need to torque the bolts on the oil pan after changing the gasket?

Re: torque for bolts on oil pan

i think it's 9 pounds.... BUT.... if you do it to 9 pounds the gasket will not seal right ( because the plastic is all mashed in the middle). do it until it looks like a good seal all the way around and then give another 1/2 turn on each bolt or nut. and it should be fine.
