1992 dodge aries.drive belt squeal?

1992 aries 2.5L sohc,no turbo.The drive belts squeal like crazy even after replacement of the belts, pullys etc.the belts i'm sure are tight enough.however if i spray them with wd40 the squeal goes away momentarily. any ideas??losing money!

Which belt is squealing? Is it the serpentine belt or the v-belt?

Dry bar soap will be a longer term cure for noise. CAREFULLY with the engine running lightly drag the soap on the belt. The bushings that hold the upper mounting bolt on the alternator are probably bad allowing the pully to "cock" to an angle and voila! it sqeals...
