how to install a cam gear?

like the thread says, give me pics and such of how to install a brand new cam gear like aem skunk2 etc.

btw its a d16y5 motor

Re: how to install a cam gear?

just unbolt the valve cover, and loosen the tension on the timing belt. be sure to mark where the cam gear is before you remove the belt, or else your timing will be off. un bolt the old cam gear and follow these steps in reverse to re-install.

It's good to know that anyone else has a d16y5 engine, I used to have one, very good engine for fuel economy purposes, I tried to get more power on that engine putting a cam, camgear, header, ported head, but I blewed off the engine, so I wish you good luck with the mods.
