Ouch...

...for the Bush campaign, that is.

I heard on the news today that a new article is coming out sometime this week, basically condemning Dick Cheney, and how he visited the CIA at least a dozen times, right after 9-11, trying to strong-arm them into finding some kind of link between Saddam and Al-Qa'eda.

Did a quick search, and it turns out, not everything is peachy-keen in Bushland:

Either Bush isn't so bad, just influenced by a zealot, or The Campaign has found its new scapegoat...

Either way...

There was also something on the news about Bush's Ohio approval. Ohio is huge swing state, as it sends a grand-total of 21 representatives to the electoral college. They say it is this year's Florida.

Bush won Ohio in 2000 by a margin of about 160,000 votes. Well, since Bush has been President, about 260,000 workers have lost their jobs in Ohio, with a majority of them blaming the Government, run by the incumbent.

Here's something I found:
http://www.mercurynews.com/mld/merc...ics/7981610.htm

Those stats are from February. Bush's approval has dipped-down to about 42% from the 45% he had when that article I linked to was published...with about 40% approving of Bush's handling of Iraq.

Take that as it is, some people have complained about the Bush-bashing, and this isn't one. I'll let the facts speak for themselves.
