D Day
60 years to the day.

How far we have come since then. It's quite strange. I bought D Day by Stephen Ambrose (of Band of Brothers fame) on Friday. Never even realised it was close to D Day.

This is for all those who have served, and died, and are serving in the armed forces around the world.
