engine rebuild

I have a question. I have yet to look into it, but I might be wanting to bascailly rebuild my engine, ill need to "rebuild" the block, and ill port and polish the head. I just want my engine with 130,000 to last if im going to put any more large mounts of money into it. I need to know if anyone has HAD a engine rebuilt since im not about to do all the work, but escpecially if theyve rebuilt there escort motor. I have the 1.8 DOHC. I was want a estimate price to see it I want to even bother.
