Thumbs up

:sun: I have caught the bug. I just installed my clear bumper lights and FSTB from Courtesy and all I can say is WOW! That STB is amazing. I want to do more.

Installing the STB and lights has given me the confidence to try installing a CAI myself. The problem is I am not sure if this is a good next step. If it is, who offers CAI for 4th gen. maximas, and how much should I expect to pay? All help would be appreciated.

Help me get more from my max!
Thanks!

Place Racing and Warpspeed performance both offer CAI's for the 4th gen Max. The PR runs about $200 or so, and the Warpspeed, which will not be available for another couple weeks, should run around $160. AEM and WeaponR are said to be working on CAI's, but no release date has been announced. The Cai's are a step in the right direction for performance, and add a nice sound at WOT also. There are also normal Pop Charger type intakes available from Stillen and JWT, which run from $120 on up. The advantage these have are that you do not have to cut a hole in your car to route the intake piping, but they just suck hot air from the engine bay, though you could do a BrainV mod to remedy some of that. Good Luck.

Thanks for the info. I noticed you have the PR CAI on your maxima. Dou you recommend this piece. Any problems with installation or maintenance?

Thanks again!

Ive had this setup for over a month now with no problems whatsoever. Even though the filter sets upside down, mine has not come off or gotten loose. Ive checked it a couple times now, and no problems. Its quite at normal cruising, but mash the throttle and watch peoples heads turn to look at that V8, and then realize its just your 4 door family car. lol. It's great. Good luck. Matt
