a 1977 gt-r ???????? The first gtr was introduced in 1989 buddy, thats probably why you're having such a hard time finding info on a car that doesn't exist.

I take it that you're referring to the KPGC10 2000 GT-R?

If so, I found one site for you. Doesn't really seem to be much information out there on them though. They're pretty rare and expensive to go with it.

If it's a '77 like you said, then it's not. The last GTR before the '89 R32 was made in 1973 (if you found that it's very RARE!). Here's a good link for the older GTR models, info and basic specs:

http://www.j-garage.com/nissan/skyli...00gtr.html.htm

Here are the old GTRs year produced and body codes so you can confirm if the one you found is a real one or not (they're also listed on the site):

1969 - PGC10
1970 - KPGC10
1973 - KPGC110

You've got yourself a Skyline body code C210 (made '77 to '81). (Also known as Datsun 240K) It's true name is the Skyline 2000GT-E. Someone may have put the previous 2000GT-R badges on it if it's got them. The bodies were a bit similar and the cosmetics easily swapped.

The give away is the rear side window. If you look at the C110 2000GT-R in the first link, you'll notice the rear side window ends in a point at the top. The C210 2000GT-E has end in a point on the bottom like yours.

(Good pic of a Japanese C210 Skyline on the bottom, mentions that only the Japanese got the round tail lights you've got. Also, when the say 'Badged the same as the C110', that's because the C110 was sold in the UK badged Datsun 240K GT, they didn't get the rare GTR C110's)

It may not be a GTR, but it's a Skyline and looks VERY, VERY NICE!!!!!
