Cooling fan not turning off.

The shrouded cooling fan between the radiator and main cooling fan is not turning off even after the ignition is turned off. Is this a stuck solenoid? Anybody have this problem? Anybody have a solution??? Thanks.

Re: Cooling fan not turning off.

I once had a problem with a fan that would'nt turn on on a Grand Caravan it ended up being a solid state control assy . Mine was located below the right head light (as viewed from drivers seat) on the fwd side of the front bulkhead, it was accessable while laying on ground it was about 2"x3"x3/8", held on by 2 screws.

Re: Cooling fan not turning off.

I had the same problem at 23K. The radiator/AC condenser fan motor relay was at fault. It was replaced under warranty.
