well, I feel stupid even admitting this dumb thing I did, and I am just plain SOL since I cant afford comp/collision.
I woke up yesterday at about 7 in the morning and started pulling my B18, stayed ouit all day swapping pumps/belts/manifolds/etc from B18 to B20 and installing the new clutch, and the putting it all in, i eneded up finishing today at around 2, so I was outside a total of 31 hours non-stop working on this car getting it back on the road. well I actually did stop twice to eat, but anyways on to the horrible part of the story. after I got this engine and and it was all connected, idling smooth, no CEL, no overheating, no leaks I was so excited I guess I didnt notice how tired I was, so I took the cart out for a test drive around the block, I heard an obnoxious rattle as it idled down to the idle, it ende up being the exhaust setup twisted a bit and the piping now hit the rail going down the side undere the car, I decided to fix it later cuz I needed to go get a filter so I couold change it and get anything that got in there during the rebuild out right away, anyways, I went to the store, got it, all is fine, then on the way home I wake up(still driving tho) to see a big ass asphalted driveway right in front of me, no way I could stop or get out of the way, pretty much after I saw it I hit. I had went off the road into the ditch and hit the asphalt part that goes form street to driveway, flipped up in the air, back end over front, while upside down the cars passenger side rubbed against the side of the ditch while in the air and then landed about 20 feet on the other side of the driveway on the roof and then slid a bit and then finally rolled one more time sideways and landed on its wheels pointing backwards and into the ditch. so now when my cars is on all 4 wheels, the engine and trans are about 3 inches off the ground, one rim is cracked all over and tire bead is exposed everywhere, ot sure how its holding car up, pass. side front roof is SMASHED and all passenger side windows busted, mirror ripped off, fenders completely F'd up, only panels that arent dented or groound down to complete metal are the drivers side doors, rear dirvers side 1/4. trunk lid too but it sits crooked. when I got out of the xcar, my sub that usually resides in the trunk in its 40 pound box was sitting next to me, amp on the rear deck as dangling by the wires, capacitors got CRUSHED and clamps busted, radar detector was way in the back under some crap, and somehow a can of upholstery cleaner had exited the car, and then gotten under the cra when it landed again cuz when the car was on its top(I thikn thats when judgind from marks on car and on ground it exploded the can and foam was EVERYWHERE. it is like a bad dream or soemthing, this sucks. at leats I got the civic, so anyways I am parting out the teg, it is a 4 door LS, 1994 it is the 5 speed, adn power everythign but no roof. anywsy it is the brown interior and my frined has same car so he has first dibs but if you need anything (air bags deployed so those need raplaced if you buy the dahs or wheel). front seats are already spoken for, and I got dibs on the engine/trans for my civic, but I will stil have axles/shift linkage, and a couple mounts for a integra as well as an ECU, also got a few civic computers if interested, a P06 and P05 i think they are. ot some B20 parts also, the AC bracket, PS pump and bracket, intake and exhaust manifolds. also have a B18 block that I pulled out of the teg when I put in the B20 and the cluster shows 103k miles. it has a B20 head on it though as I used the B18 head since it already had the almost new plugs in it, the cams were worn to the caps, and the upper radiator hose mount ws alreayd on it. so the B18 block comes wiht B20 cams/lifters. I also got a flywheel that is on the B20, it is a bit rusted but when i got it looked nice and clean, youll have to get MT bolts though sicne the B20 came automoatic and I had to steal them from the B18 so it has the short AT bolts. timing belt shows no wear that I can see, looks almost new. I alos have an intake manifold to go wiht the B18, it is off a 95 LS as I was told when I bought it. and when I get the B20 in the hatch I will have civic axles/mounts/linkage etc. the engine is a DOHC ZC that was getting water in the oil, so I had head milled and replaced headgasket and it didnt fix it. so who knows, head didnt show cracks, and block didnt as far as I could see. but the 5 speed tranny has ???,??? miles since i bought it used but the clutch was good when i put it on and the tranny shifts smooth oin every gear at redline, no grinds at all, was owned by a girl who didnt race her car. I know it is over 100k though, I think like maybe 130k or somethign if i remember correct. alot of the interior is still good, and the window motors/regs work anfd a that kind of stuff, also I have a viper alarm I will sell, have both remotes and the manual, ill post model number when i get the book out of the car tomorrow. so if you need anytihng for a teg just ask me if i got it and give me an offer and Ill tell you if i got it and if the price is right. any reasonable offer accepted though.

MAN, that REALLY sucks, I feel bad for you, poor car. So you feel asleep when driving home and hit a huge bump, and went airborne? ouch....Im sorry man, that is horrible. Best of luck on your new project car.

lol, my new project is an 84 nissan king cab 4x4.
I am gonna see if I can salvage the Y80 out of the car though, case needs a buit of TLC, but may be fixable, engine still runs great, i am gonna get the hatchback running with all this stuff. first I am gonna do a bit to the truck, cranked torsion bars, leaf blocks for a couple inches, and thewn a BL for another couple and then it will be fine for osme funn and I can move beack to focusing on the car. I am not sure Im gonna start another project htough thats gonna cost alot, cuz I signed up for delayed entry to the vavy and when I get done wiht al my schooling I think Im gonnaput all my checks plus enlist bonus on a 02 NSX. but it wasnt a bump, it was the asphalt thing that goes between streets and driveways over the culvert
