98 Silverado Cruise control problem

Hi Everyone,

I have a 1998 1500 Silverado pick up that I just bought. Cruise control tries to engage but quickly releases within a couple of seconds when speed for cruise is set. Anyone have this type of problem or solution ?

Need advise.

Check the brake pedal switch, maybe it needs adjustment...
